The Alava firm has changed its activity thanks to its commitment to innovation, combined with design and respect for the environment. It markets its products in countries such as Japan, the United States, New Zealand and Canada.
Idderman's activity has taken a turn in just three years. It has gone from depending on a single, very seasonal product such as the galleries that cover the conveyor belts for skiers, to expanding its catalog to begin manufacturing secure parking for bicycles and scooters, an electric bicycle and the 'Capsule', a transparent cylindrical gallery for the Horeca sector. In addition, it produces electric charging accessories and photovoltaic solar energy solutions for all these products.
The Alava firm was founded in 2016 to manufacture 'Universal Gallery For Skiers', a cover concept to protect any ski conveyor belt. Along this path, its commitment to innovation, together with design and respect for the environment, has led the Basque company to be the owner of patents and registered designs in all the sectors in which it operates. In this sense, its electric bicycle "provides a solution for a public that is not especially a cyclist, which facilitates their movements in the city in a quite special way."
In addition, Idderman car parks offer “the protection of bicycles and scooters, as well as the provision of a recharging option in a controlled and monitored access environment,” he indicates. And they offer cities, communities or private companies “a solution that alternates the transparency of polycarbonate with the durability and aesthetics of aluminum, making its integration into the city minimally invasive,” says the manager.
International presence
Legutio's company works with the mountain sector for ski galleries, with town councils and institutions for bicycle and scooter parking and, for the Horeca sector, for the 'Capsule'. “Our main clients are ski resorts such as Courchevel, Alpe d’Huez or Val d’Isère in France, Niseko in Japan or Cervino in Italy; city councils such as Bilbao, Madrid, Pamplona, Granada, Logroño or León, for bicycle parking, or Tokyu Land Corporation in Japan, for the 'Capsule'.
Its market is international thanks to the ski galleries, “which we sell all over the world, from Japan to the United States, through New Zealand, Uzbekistan, all of Europe and Canada,” says Carlos Alarcón. His short-term objectives focus on "the internationalization of our bicycle parking lots, as well as the 'Capsule', in addition to strengthening and implementing new solutions for these two products and for the conveyor belts," he highlights.
The manager states that they plan to expand Idderman's staff, made up of 24 people, “with two new additions in the short term to reinforce our strategies for both production and international trade, in the 'Capsule' and pharmaceutical sectors. safe bicycle parking.
