Huawei changes the name of its high-end, releases a design for the rear photographic module and says hello to the Kirin 9010.
Huawei has introduced four new models for its highest range to its mobile catalog. Changes name: from P to Pura. Thus, the Huawei Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pro+ and Huawei Pura 70 Ultra constitute the culmination of its strategy within China. High-end and a new processor.
Huawei Pure 70
There are four models that share many of the basic characteristics; it is not in vain that Huawei has placed them at the top of its catalog. Broadly speaking, there are two key differences in size: the Huawei Pura 70 is somewhat smaller than the others; with a 6.6-inch screen instead of the 6.8 inches of the Pro and Ultra. With the rest of the features very similar: FHD+ resolution on all four, LTPO panel with refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and Kunlun toughened glass for the front.
The processor chosen to power the mobile phones is a "Pure" declaration of intent on the part of Huawei: the Kirin 9010 evolves from the controversial Kirin 900S to offer better performance and features. The SoC is accompanied by 12 or 16 GB of RAM, depending on the models; with up to 1TB of maximum storage on all.
The Huawei Pura 70 offer a solvent main camera, a wide angle and a telephoto lens. The first and second with their corresponding OIS applied to the objective; except in the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, that mechanical stabilization is applied directly to the sensor.
Main 50 megapixels for all four with variable aperture and the aforementioned OIS (in the Ultra the sensor is one inch). 12.5 megapixel wide angle in the Pura 70, 13 megapixels in the Pro and 40 megapixels in the Ultra. And when it's time to go up to the lens, the most "basic" one is left with a 12 megapixel lens that is less bright than its brothers; multiplied by four in the rest of the cases.
Huawei Pura 70 Pro+
Although there are differences in photography with the rear camera, where the hardware of the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra dominates, the front camera is an ode to democracy: 13 megapixel sensor for everyone.
All models include their fast charger in the box with a power of 100 W per cable; a figure that drops to 66 W in the Huawei Pura 70. Fast wireless charging (50 W in the Pura 70 and 80 W in the others) with reverse wireless charging. And this is revolutionary enough, since the Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+ and Huawei Pura 70 Ultra can recharge another mobile phone or an accessory at 20 W just by bringing the devices together.
They all offer IP68 dust and water certification, have NFC, have a fingerprint reader under the screen, have stereo speakers and are updated to HarmonyOS 4.2.
In the country of origin, mobile phones can now be reserved through the Huawei website.
