Here’s Honor’s new 5G range

We sensed that it was close because it was getting significantly closer to the leak corridor. As always, these leaks were true and the new Honor 50, 50 SE and 50 Pro 5G look like a clone of the Huawei P50 shown by Richar Yu (CEO of Huawei) with this unique camera module.

However, it should be noted that Honor was separated from Huawei by having Google services, although as we will now see in its Magic UI features, it is still a customization layer (it was based on EMIU). In any case, it is a triple launch of mid-range mobiles with 5G and in some cases a curved panel.
The aesthetic is almost common in all three models, opting for the rear brightness and releasing this camera module design we mentioned earlier. They are two circles made up of the main camera, on the one hand, and the rest of the lens, on the other.

The “Basic” Honor 50 is a 6.78-inch IPS display with FullHD + resolution. We will see that, unlike the following ones, it has straight edges and no curvature. That said, being IPS, the reader is on the side.

This is MediaTek Dimensity 900 being the largest content of the new Honor 50 family, which gives it 5G connectivity. It has a single 8 GB version and 128 GB storage.
In terms of battery life, the Honor 50 SE offers a 4,000 mAh battery with a fast charge of 66 watts. It comes with Android 11 and Magic UI, and it also has a headphone jack, USB C, and of course 5G.

At the camera level, pulling at everything that supports this aforementioned processor, Honor has chosen a 100-megapixel main sensor. In the secondary cameras we see a large angle with an 8 megapixel sensor and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. The front camera is left with a 16-megapixel sensor.

Honor 50 and 50 Pro

We’re going to talk about these two mobiles because they’re very twins together. In fact, we will see that in this case the Pro surname is based on a little more than the size.
Both phones have a curved side OLED panels with a 20: 9 ratio and FullHD + resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), although they have different diagonals. The Honor 50 has a 6.57-inch screen and the Honor 50 Pro has a 6.72-inch, slightly larger screen.

Unlike the previous one, we see that the refresh rate of the 50 and 50 Pro reaches 120 Hz and the screen integrates a fingerprint reader. Also, on the front we can see a more elegant Huawei P40 Pro island in the case of the Honor 50 Pro, which has two front cameras.

There’s also a bit of a similarity on the inside, with a Snapdragon 778G 5G for both of them. They also have WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and USB type C port.
In this case there are two RAM options, 8 GB and 12 GB. For the Honor 50 we see two versions in terms of storage, with 128 and 256 GB, and the Honor 50 Pro only has 256 GB.
There is a difference in batteries in terms of capacity, but not in terms of fast charges. The Honor 50 has a 4,300 mAh battery with 100W fast charging and the Honor 50 Pro integrates a 4,000 mAh battery with a fast charging, again 100W.

The rear camera also features a 108-megapixel sensor and a f / 1.9 aperture lens. In fact, there are no surprises when it comes to the composition of the three rear cameras, as the secondary ones are wide-angle with an 8-megapixel f / 2.2 sensor and two cameras (macro and depth), each with a 2-megapixel sensor.
