From this month, Milagrosa and Rochapea will have “Green Offices” to advise their neighbourhoods on rehabilitation, urban regeneration and energy transition.
Pamplona wants to commit to a more stable and accessible model of city rehabilitation through a network of free green offices that also work for sustainability and energy transition. Their work will focus on the implementation of actions to promote and accompany urban regeneration processes in the neighbourhood, mainly those related to the energy efficiency of the actions.
The first two pieces of this network will be the offices of Milagrosa and Rochapea, which will be open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The first will be located in the premises set up at Calle Manuel de Falla, 2, and the second at the headquarters of the Environmental Museum, at Calle Errotazar, 12. The green offices will begin to operate after a public presentation day in which participants will be able to listen to experts in rehabilitation and sustainability, as well as learn about the new services first-hand.
The Strategic Government, Urban Planning, Housing and Agenda 2030 area has invested a total of 366,315 euros in the setting up of both offices through the PCH body and the European Openlab project, which works towards a positive energy neighbourhood in La Rochapea. This entire amount has been dedicated to the La Milagrosa office, the first to open its doors to the public on 18 September. The largest part corresponds to the purchase and works on the premises, whose combined amount exceeds 340,000 euros. As for the budget of the Rochapea office, it has only been necessary to invest in the hiring of technical staff, which has also been financed by the European OpenLab project, since this space expands the services that were already being provided in the facilities of the Environmental Education Museum, located in the Old Monastery of San Pedro.
The idea is that these spaces will advise and accompany citizens and communities in matters of rehabilitation, urban regeneration and energy transition, offering a network of key services to support a sustainable model of neighborhood and housing improvement. They will be a space of proximity and will simplify individual and collective consultations and procedures through the implementation of a one-stop shop. They will also offer updated information on current aid at local, regional and state level, including subsidies offered through the building ordinance of the Pamplona City Council and the new possibilities opened by the approval of the PEAU in Milagrosa.
One of the key services that these offices will offer will be personalized and continuous guidance to improve the energy efficiency of homes, as well as advice for the promotion of new energy communities. In this way, not only will environmental sustainability be promoted, but citizens will also be helped to reduce their energy bills, improving the comfort of their homes and their quality of life.
This new public resource maintains the line of work carried out in collaboration with the Nasuvinsa office in Txantrea within the Efidistrict project and the traditional work in this area promoted by the Pamplona Rehabilitation Office (ORVE).
Presentation days on the 18th in Milagrosa and the 25th in Rochapea. The presentations, which will also be official inaugurations in a popular key, will be held on September 18 at the Youth House and on September 25 at the Environmental Education Museum, respectively. In both cases the session will take place at 5:30 p.m. with free admission.
These sessions will include talks on the services that the new Green Offices will offer. Participants will be able to learn about the experience of the different energy communities created in each neighbourhood and will contain information on global intervention projects, as well as the aid available at local and regional level. Interesting cases of energy rehabilitation carried out in other neighbourhoods by their own architectural teams will be shared and the experience of Nasuvinsa with the Txantrea office will be included. This will allow attendees to learn about inspiring experiences for their own projects.
