GPS on the bike, directions on the tarmac

We often use GPS when traveling by car, bike, or just on foot to get to a place we don't know. Or also to check the traffic conditions or find out the fastest or shortest way to get there. But when it comes to cycling, things get trickier. Therefore, we will show you a solution below.

Projecting GPS directions

Improper use of mobile phones is one of the most common causes of accidents, and can be fatal. Avoiding distractions is the main advantage of this device that we will present below. If you've ever tried to ride a bike, you've probably noticed that it's almost impossible to keep your balance, and at the same time check the GPS on your mobile screen while you study the surrounding traffic, pedestrians or just the condition of the road.

One solution may be to use headphones, but they are even more dangerous if we use them while driving. Our activity also includes the use of wristbands and smart watches to guide you without having to look at your mobile screen. But a much more successful solution is laser projectors.

Although there are few alternatives we can find on the market at the moment and their price is not available in all pockets, they are the perfect solution to keep your eyes off the road. The LaserCube Wifi is a compact laser projector placed on the handle, and the instructions we need to follow are projected directly to the ground. In this way, we can follow the signs almost without taking our eyes off the road. To do this, he uses a laser projector. It works like long-used laser pointers, drawing perfectly on the surface the date and distance we need to follow to get to our destination, as well as what we don’t have to travel.

It is also compatible with iOS, Android, Mac and PC and has a WiFi connection to connect to other devices. Its price is still quite high, although this is not the only use that can be made of this projector, because we can make all kinds of projections on multiple surfaces. We hope that over time these devices will become cheaper or otherwise produce more models that fit all pockets and needs.

GPS laser

LaserCube is a GPS laser for cycling or scooters reflected on the road. Seeing a small screen on a bike is much more difficult than on a motorcycle or car. So why not project information on the ground in front of the cyclist?

All modern cars have an information screen where they show different information while you are driving. From GPS to map, distances, time, etc.

This information is easily seen on a 10-inch screen, for example, inside a large, stable, motorized vehicle. But it’s much more complicated on a bike, where only a small mobile screen comes in, and where there’s less stability, the user has to pedal, turn with his arms, and keep his balance.

Everything changes if we project the GPS on the road, in a huge size, with a laser beam. That’s what LaserCube does, among many other things.

In short, the LaserCube is a portable laser beam projector with its own battery. So you can use it wherever you want.

It uses a standard called 2.5W Pro, with a 40% higher speed, and an ILDA compatible input and output to connect an ILDA Laser DAC or an independent Radiator and Chromagnon type controller. It is also compatible with commercial laser installations.

It offers professional results that many artists use for stage or music video performances, from Madonna to youtuber.

The high power of the LaserCube, along with some of the included lenses, allows you to project huge-sized images, even in buildings.

It is also fully programmable through an application without having to know the programming. As a result, the possibilities are endless.

You can use it to project messages, logos, or animations on your walls or objects, make presentations, create special effects, interact with the laser, and much more.

The LaserCube also allows you to play interactive games because two lasers can be detected together.
By activating a special mode that must be unlocked for security reasons, the laser is capable of engraving messages or drawings on wood or plastic, as well as exploding balloons in magic, skill and other demonstrations.
Finally, it is possible to place the GPS on the road with the handlebars of a bicycle or scooter.
