Google Wi-Fi to connect to all the home parts
The Google Wi-Fi router is in ours and sends a powerful signal to any home. As Mountain View has just announced, Google Home has come to Spain, but with its intelligent speaker, Google Wifi comes with a more useful product.
Technologists were waiting for the arrival of Google Home, as it is one of the most important technological events of the last months. All the giants of the sector are struggling to put their intelligent loudspeakers ahead of these competitors and this has caused nervousness in this context.
And at that moment, Google Home's role has come, without any noise, a big surprise, Google's 'router', known as Google Wi-Fi, seems to worth more attention.
In fact, as Google has said, this device is a strange one for home-based products for the search engine, and it will begin to market in Spain soon. The US market is present in Google Wifi since 2016. Spanish consumers do not usually pay much interest in this kind of theme, in routers, because it might be because they think they care about each other company.
Get the benefit out of the network
In addition to its precious stylistics, the routine that is very accustomed to the different routers, this white device, with a line of light, has a very striking interior that breaks with the routers we usually have in homes. By making use of its intelligent systems, Google Wifi helps the home network more profitably and finally ends up with those home locations where the connection is not successful.
For this purpose, this invention has a technology called Network Assist. This is similar to an intelligent network, which divides the connection in those points where it is most needed. So, for example, if we are watching Netflix in one of the home areas and if another is being used by WhatsAppa, it will send a broader band to a larger band that will send more bandwidth. In this case, Netflix is watching the room.
If this were not enough, this device also has an 'app', which allows anyone to manage their own use of the network. For example, there is the possibility to see the devices that are connected to each other and how much they consume if they signal the signal. And completely unbelievable, you should not juggle your friends or invite them to code; It will be app and will be able to be shared from there. This is an advance!
Weaknesses Essentially its price (€ 139) and extra secrecy units. Depending on the size of the home, more than one small device will need to make the most of its options. In theory, Google assures that one of these devices can cover an area of 140 meters, but if it needs more, it also allows purchasing a pack of 3 units for 349 euros, with a cost of 50 euros each distributed.
