Fisify is a digital physiotherapy service based on artificial intelligence algorithms. There is practically no human intervention, but AI accompanies patients throughout the recovery process. In addition to treating discomfort and overload, it is also dedicated to the preventive part.

A first algorithm performs an initial assessment and provides the three most likely pathologies according to the symptoms presented by the patient. Then, the second algorithm designs the personalized exercise program that best suits the needs identified in the first phase. Finally, thanks to the computer or mobile camera, Fisify is able to monitor the patient in real time and give real-time feedback to ensure that the exercises are being performed correctly, and if it detects incorrect movements, correct them in the most suitable way.

Currently, in addition to the entire State, it also offers its services in Mexico and Chile, and this year it will be extended to Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.

This Bilbao startup was created in 2020 by three young Basque entrepreneurs: Igotz Lazkano; Iñaki Martínez, also a physiotherapist, and Inhar Aldalur, a developer. The three thought that through new technologies and artificial intelligence, a more coherent and accurate result could be provided to the symptoms that people present.

As for clients, Fisify currently works with insurance companies and different companies. In addition, musculoskeletal ailments are one of the main causes of absenteeism in companies. Thus, the company offers its services to employees to promote healthy lifestyle habits in the work environment and, in this way, reduce this rate of absenteeism.

Looking ahead, Fisify aims to design the new era of physiotherapy, a hybrid and seamless service era for people to completely change the way they consume physiotherapy.
