Firechat, an app without Internet
And if a messenger application works without an internet connection and frees you to communicate with third parties (including government) without control? This app is a Firechat app, a mobile app that lets you chat with close friends through virtually all Android or iOS devices.
What is Firechat?
It is a Firechat messaging application, Wha-tsapp, Telegram, Hangouts (which has taken their emoticons). It looks like a lot of other popular apps, even if you keep past anonymous chats talking to strangers. The technical aspect is, however, its most innovative feature:
It does not require Internet connection (WiFi, 3G and 4G data plans) to be used. The connection can be made between people between 70 and a half distance. It can be used on mobiles and tablets on both Android and iOS.
How does it work
Although different operating methods have been used for devices that support the technical composition of each iOS and Android systems, P2P or Peer to peer networks are the key to understanding how to operate it: each device set to the Firechat is a node that is used to communicate with a nearby device, a specialized software (Firechat) that benefits from Wi-Fi Direct connections (without Internet) and other Bluetooth devices.
Another way to understand is to think of a train: first-person cars can communicate with people in the second place because of their proximity, and the latter with third parties ... so that they can reach the final. This connection chain allows the amount of remote and unnecessary Internet connections, the first ones can be communicated with the latest connections, although technically not close. In the first case, the connection will be "Nearby (Nearby)" and the other will be Connection Everyone (all).
On iOS devices
iPhone and iOS 7 or higher systems, for which the first Firechaten version is used, uses a single framework, the Multipeer Connectivity Framework, which is used by special devices between Apple devices, with its ability to operate Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooting in small areas, like the house to share different
On Android devices
On Android mobile phones and tablets, Open Garden technology is used, which is an intrinsic connection protocol, as well as Wi-Fi Direct (or Wi-Fi P2P) and Bluetooth to create a connectivity network between devices. Each network equipment will use the connection with other nodes depending on the amount of efficiency.
How to register
No registration required. You can only select a name and start chatting with non-internet connections with other physically insiders. It should be clarified that the account is not disabling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection, but rather benefit from automatic connection networks.
Boundaries
Ignoring the need for contact has little to do: it is possible to create lots of firechats (or hot chat) in the application, which can be filled with improper and irrelevant content, because nobody is controlling access.
