Have you always wanted to be an entrepreneur?
Each member of the group has his own story. I was clear from the beginning that I wanted to do things, and especially that the more things you do in the beginning, the more you will learn and grow, both professionally and personally. I think we're all achieving our goals and dreams if we've made it this far, into year four, on this unique and somewhat different entrepreneurial journey. I think one way or another we are where we want to be.
What does entrepreneurship have to appeal to you?
I think freedom, to fail, for example, and to be surrounded by people who contribute to me, people who have experience and knowledge that add to what I do on a daily basis.
Freedom can often be dangerous, and you have to be responsible for it, but entrepreneurship opens doors for growth in all aspects of your life.
What do you think is the best and worst thing about entrepreneurship?
The best thing is that the sooner you fail, the sooner you learn, the more people you meet who will help you, the better; and worst of all, that the responsibility that comes with freedom is a risk. In this case, you don't have a person behind you telling you to "do this, this and this", or "be here in this moment". You are the one who has to be responsible for saying "well, I get up every day to make this happen". And that, sometimes, especially when things go wrong, costs a lot, but self-leadership is essential there.
How do you see the job market today?
Frankly, I am very surprised by the unemployment data that we have, especially youth unemployment, and then the large number of job applications that many companies have, especially service companies.
Regarding the labor issue, what I see is that, logically, in some sectors maybe things could have been done better in the past, although that is easy to say without experiencing it, but I think that people lack motivation. The ability to suffer is lacking in order to get what you really want later.
We meet with many companies and they look everywhere for people, but they don't find them, and the young people have part of the responsibility. Also, I think there is a lot of help that we can take advantage of and we don't.
How would you encourage young people to start entrepreneurship?
In the end, your idea may be just like your son or daughter. If you don't lead and care, few, if any, people will. It's like your baby. Therefore, if it's your idea, go for it, there are people everywhere who will help you with great experience and give you confidence. If you don't do it, who will?
What are your plans for the future?
To continue with our dream, to pursue this, that it will, and if it doesn't work out, nothing happens, it would be a lesson, but to fight for it, and in the future to have the feeling that I really gave everything to try to pull this off. Furthermore, the group, the company and, above all, continue to spread quality people.
