On November 11 and 12, Bilbao will host DOK Summit, an event that will bring together the main players in the digital, technological and business ecosystem.
Organised by GAIA and ESLE, with the support of the Basque Government, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, the SPRI Group, Bilbao City Council and EJIE, among many other companies and entities, DOK Summit presents a programme with a total of 98 different activities, including a dozen presentations, the presentation of more than 30 success stories, five panels of experts, 10 inspirational talks, workshops, exhibitions and a long list of complementary activities.
DOK Summit's mission is to promote understanding of digital transformation and its impact on the business and social fabric of the Basque Country. Over two intensive days, the event will explore how digitalisation increases competitiveness, drives innovation and contributes to sustainability. Technology companies and startups will share success stories on scalable and sustainable solutions, highlighting the role of open technologies in the transition to a green economy. DOK Summit 2024 not only addresses technology, but its application to transform key sectors such as industry, education, energy and public administration.
In addition, DOK Summit seeks to be a point of reference to attract and develop digital talent in the Basque Country, preparing for the challenges of the future.
Another of the major objectives for DOK Summit is to establish strategic alliances and build bridges at an international level to promote the use of synergies and share experiences, with a focus on collaboration in future projects. For this reason, a delegation of professionals from the ICT sector from Colombia has been invited. During the event, they will learn about local experiences and will also have a space in the event program.
Extensive two-day program, DOK Summit 2024 will take place over two days, each with a unique strategic focus.
