Following the successful implementation of the Design-driven Innovation training session for SMEs held by the EIT in Budapest, we are co-organising together with the European Commission a new training session in Brussels, Belgium, on 3 July.
This training is hosted by the EIT House in Brussels.
Design-driven-innovation involves the use of traditional and new materials, of new production tools and processes and of innovative approaches to better meet customer needs. Design is a new point of view about the product/service and is crucial to success for European enterprises. The training session focuses on design as the key feature in strategies to develop an SME today.
The course will provide participants with a meaningful view of the benefits and opportunities of design-driven innovation, with presentations, case studies and team work in one full day. During the session, participants will learn and experience:

- Shaping your products through Customer-Centred Design
- What Design-Driven Innovation means
- Design Case Studies
- Teamwork on Design-Driven Innovation
- Teamwork on Strategic design for SMEs
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the EIT and its activities in boosting innovation and entrepreneurship across Europe.
The course will be held by design and business administration teachers from Milan Politecnico – among the best European universities in these fields.
The target group is SMEs and SME intermediaries.
