The Biscayan firm is the only company in Spain that designs and develops exoskeletons for industry.
The biomedical engineering company Cyber Human Systems has just launched ‘ExoHead’, a textile exoskeleton designed to improve ergonomics in demanding work environments.
The exoskeleton uses artificial muscles with variable deformation, which minimise fatigue and the risk of injury and guarantee greater adaptability and comfort in every movement.
The Basque firm, the only Spanish company that designs and develops exoskeletons for industry, focuses its activity on identifying and solving problems that generate sick leave and musculoskeletal complications.
The Abadiño company creates advanced technology that physically assists people while they work. Exoskeletons are portable devices that help workers lift heavy loads, maintain difficult postures or perform repetitive tasks, reducing physical effort and protecting their body from injury.
Cyber Human Systems operates in different sectors such as industry, military or rescue.
Its range of products includes ‘ExoSoft’, a textile exoskeleton that integrates artificial muscles and is focused on preventing musculoskeletal problems in the lumbar area. It also has ‘Gudex’, a military exoskeleton designed to support up to 40 kilograms of equipment without limiting the user's mobility. Or ‘ExoRescue’, a rescue exoskeleton that will be used by rescue and cleaning teams in the Himalayas and is designed to reduce fatigue and improve mobility in extreme environments where conditions make prolonged physical work difficult. Another of its innovative projects is ‘Achile’, a collaboration within the European military sector that seeks to develop advanced exoskeletons to improve performance and reduce the risk of fatigue in long-duration military operations.
This company collaborates with the Ministry of Defense, Iberdrola, Ferrovial, among others.
