Cryptojacking

Cryptojacking has become a lucrative option for cybercriminals, as many victims are unaware that they have been hacked.

Cryptojacking is a cybercrime in which malicious actors take over a victim's computing resources by infecting the machine with malware designed to mine cryptocurrency.

Victims of cryptojacking are usually unaware that their computers or networks have been hacked.

The number of attacks on the financial sector is five times higher than the second highest sector, retail, which used to be at the bottom of the list.

The volume of cryptojacking attacks began to fall along with the cryptocurrency markets in the first half of last year, as the attacks were becoming less lucrative.
