California has authorized driverless vehicles to test on their roads
The State of California in Waymo, a Google non-driver-driven project, a license for driverless vehicles on state roads. It is the first granted license when changes to the California Motor Vehicle Department were modified. In this way, companies may request authorization for such tests.
With this permission, California joins Phoenix and Arizona, which began with tests from previous years. For the company, the driver of a non-driverry road is the final step, the last of the whole process started in 2009. Since then, in different ways, but Waymo has spent 16 million kilometers.
Characteristics of the test
WayMo allows you to walk through the streets of the city on a day or night basis, including public roads and 105 km / h limits. In the company's words, they will begin in a limited area in a few minutes and then start in other areas. Waymok also says that the initial tests will be made by people of their team and, later on, they will have no choice but to drive cars without drivers.
