Blockchain Economics III. Conference

The conference will be attended by the Bank of Spain and Caixabank, Indra, Izertis and Minsait, and the lecture series will take place at the University of Navarra, on its Campus in Madrid. The main topics covered will be investment, regulation, the market and the financial sandbox, among others.
The welcome will be given by Juan Jesús Torres Carbonell, Secretary General of Digital Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Digitization and Economy, Ángel Gómez Montoro, Director of the Campus of the University of Navarra in Madrid, and Susana Blázquez, Founding Editor of Blockchain.


One of the main topics will be addressed by the Bank of Spain and the CNMV, explaining the digital euro, blockchain investment and sandboxing, the role of regulators in the growth of an ecosystem and the current oversight of the CBDC project.


Recently, the digital currency that the European Central Bank (ECB) wants to issue, the digital euro that it intends to launch into circulation in the next two years, will automatically integrate the possibility of tax collection when it is used as a payment method.

Blockchain Economics III. The conference will also examine the European regulations on cryptocurrencies, ID and DLT, MICA, eIDAS and DORA, which will be presented by Nacho Alamillo, Astrea's managing partner, and Cristina Carrascosa, ATH21's co-founder and partner.


Another important conference will be the tokenization of goods, which will be given by José María de Pablos O 'Mullony, Director of Information Systems of the Spanish Registries, Jimena Campuzano and Jesús Sieira Gil, Registrar of Commercial Property. On the other hand, Xavier Rebés, CaixaBank's Director of Digital Innovation and Transformation, will give a talk on the decentralized We Trade, Dalion and Smart Money platforms.


Meanwhile, Alberto García-Lluis Valencia, crypto services consultant, and Miguel Ángel Acero, director of Izertis Digital Transformation, Bitcoin, decentralized finance and the blockchain identity from Africa to the Caribbean, CBDC projects and World Bank policies and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) they will talk.


In late July, the mayor of El Campello in Alicante, Juan José Berenguer, asked the city council to pilot a test of the local digital euro, which will be part of the data collection and experimentation needed for a future digital euro. The pilot project seeks to introduce neighbors to the digital economy.
