Atten2, award for best industrial team

The Basque company Atten2 received the HP Award for "Best Industrial Group for the Factory of the Future". At the fourth edition of the Factories of the Future Awards 2020, organized as part of the Advanced Factories Expo & Congress held in Barcelona from 3 to 5 March. The aim of the awards is to encourage and encourage innovation in industrial automation and the implementation of Industry 4.0.

Representatives of Atten2, Ion Grijalbo, Head of Marketing, and Guillermo Miró, Head of Application Engineering, took to the stage to receive the award. Both thanked the organizers and the jury for the award, as well as all the employees of the company. “Without their daily work, effort and responsibility, this reward would have been impossible,” they said.
Atten2 was ranked in the “Best Industrial Group for the Future Factory” category by some prestigious companies such as Weidmüller and Bosch Rexroth. The award is aimed at rewarding these innovative solutions, which allow the incorporation of machinery and production equipment in the field of digitization and automation of industrial processes.

The awards recognize the work, effort and leadership of companies, professionals, universities, technology centers and startups that are committed to transforming technology and industry to make it more competitive. It is noteworthy that in this regard, more than 170 companies and projects submitted their nominations at this edition of the awards.

On the other hand, this recognition comes at a time of growth that is very important for the Basque company, reaffirming its strength as a company working in the development of innovative technological solutions and engineering services, aimed at reducing customer operating costs and monitoring its critical assets.

The Advanced Factories 2020 conference is the most important international event on Industry 4.0 in the Catalan capital and in its latest edition brought together more than 16,000 professionals and 6,000 companies from different European countries. Thus, this event is a meeting point for the sector, where they share the latest advances and cutting-edge technological innovations through advanced technology for the digital transformation of factories.

Atten2's field of work is the development, production and commercialization of online optical sensors for the measurement of the specific characteristics of certain feeds, especially lubricating oil; on the other hand, they also perform other derivative services.
This technology has been developed after years of successful R&D in the field of sensors and lubrication, at the hands of the Ik4-Tekniker Technology Center.

Atten2’s career has always been geared towards continued business growth, thanks to the consolidation of its community.
The models of his work are:

  • OilHealth Algorithm Patents: A method for determining the degradation status of lubricating oils.
  • OilHealth Patents: Development of a device to determine the degradation status of lubricating oils in a machine lubrication circuit.
  • OilWear Patents: Development of a device for measuring pollution in feeds through optical technology.
  • NIR Sensor Patents: A process for measuring fluids based on spectroscopy at the infrared level.
  • OilWear Lens Free Patent: The process of opticizing lens optics.
