Artificial intelligence will not replace humans

Now, instead of focusing on whether generative artificial intelligence will displace humans, the conversation is turning to how people who use this technology will be at an advantage in the job market.

This perspective was discussed during a panel at Dreamforce, a festival organized by Salesforce in San Francisco, California. During the event, it was highlighted that generative artificial intelligence will become a tool that will enhance productivity and that its use will be increasingly common in offices.

As Forbes Mexico recalls, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman mentioned that they are working on making technologies like ChatGPT more reliable and useful for people in all the areas in which they are transforming work.

The mission of technology companies

Technology companies want to emphasize that generative artificial intelligence will not replace workers, but will help them perform mechanical and repetitive tasks more efficiently.

AI is seen as an enabler to improve software quality and increase productivity, not to replace developers. The conversation about the impact of generative artificial intelligence on productivity is gaining relevance in organizations as leaders look for ways to use the technology to improve efficiency and free up resources for higher-value tasks.
