10 events for your calendar
Fortunately, there are many different events in our geography that speak of innovation and entrepreneurship. Unfortunately, however, it is impossible for everyone to attend. So, one of those that we will recommend after choosing 2 or three and you should put them on the agenda.
Why attend? Not only because of the people you meet (potential partners, investors, customers ...), but also to keep abreast of trends in the market, to find out where the tech world is, and why these meetings are an incentive for your motivation and creativity.
- BBSC - Bilbao. We start from our immediate environment, the BBSC Biscay Bay Startup Campus held in Bilbao. There they are excited and hard-working to give as much as possible and anyone interested in taking the first steps with the most complete information in the startup world.
- Web Summit - Lisbon. Forbes magazine says it is "the most important technology event on the planet." They have more than 1200 speakers; therefore, your mind will be in turmoil during the 4 days of the events. It is attended by the most innovative start-ups and companies in the world.
- 4 Years from Now (4YFN) - Barcelona. This is a good date to start 2020, as your motivation will be ON. It will be held in Barcelona from 24 to 26 February. Tickets are not on sale yet, but they have announced that they will be speaking at the next edition of Jens Riegelsberger, Google's UX director.
- Startup Olé - Salamanca. Certainly, this entrepreneurship initiative should not be missing from your 2020 agenda. In addition, this year, BBSC and Startup Olé are collaborating. As such, you are one of the winners of the BBSC Awards, you will be able to participate in this event, which is held in Salamanca.
- Local TEDx. This event allows you to watch TED talks continuously. They are made in many different places, so you will probably have one near you.
- Fuck Up Nights - Barcelona. It is common for entrepreneurs to talk about successful cases and not about those who have failed. The opposite is true of Fuck Up Nights all over the planet. The last meeting was in Barcelona on September 12th. In each session, three people share their failures with everyone else, because learning from others' mistakes is beneficial.
- Alhambra Ventures - Great. This year's edition was held in early July, but it is an event to consider, as it is one of the most powerful events in the South.
- Creative Mornings - Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia. This series of lectures by the creative community is held in very different cities around the world. Unfortunately it will never be celebrated again in Spain, but it is worth noting because it can be celebrated in nearby cities.
- Business Appointment - San Sebastian. It is celebrated in summer in San Sebastian. It is a meeting place for startups, small and medium-sized companies and investors to reach agreements between them.
