The march returns to Isaba organized by the public company of the Government of Navarra NICDO and its Larra-Belagua center, including new services and an exclusive jersey.

The classic Larra-Larrau cycle-tourist march begins the countdown. It will celebrate its twenty-ninth edition in Isaba on September 7 after being suspended last year due to a DANA that prevented participants from enjoying its routes.

This 2024, the organization is in charge of the public company of the Government of Navarra NICDO and its Larra-Belagua center, in collaboration with the Isaba City Council. In addition, it presents new services and an exclusive jersey designed especially for the occasion.

The Larra-Larrau is famous for its toughness and the beauty of its landscapes, as it runs along the slopes of the Navarrese and French Pyrenees, which makes it very attractive for cyclists and nature lovers.

A route that also shares sections with the last edition of “La Vuelta” Ciclista a España 2023, which ended one of its stages precisely in the El Ferial de Larra Belagua space.

Cyclists can choose between two routes of different distances; the longest has 146 km with 3,780 meters of elevation gain while the shortest is 100 km with 2,581 meters of elevation gain.

Both routes will be perfectly signposted and prepared, offering challenges and impressive views for all tastes.

It should be noted that the test is designed for the enjoyment of nature and cycling, it is not a competition. Cyclists are not required to go through time controls from start to finish, however, they will have the option of knowing their times.

Specifically, times will be taken on the 3 major mountain passes of the day: Piedra San Martín, Issarbe and Larrau, after passing through the control points that will be installed along the route. At the end of the race, all the classifications will be published on the race website.

At the end of the race, the runners will be able to recover their strength with food included in the registration fee and will have the option of receiving a massage. In addition, to improve the comfort of all attendees, Larra Belagua has decided to include a new locker service located at the Isaba fronton.

The safety of participants is paramount. Therefore, its services also include: medical assistance led by the Red Cross, a wide deployment of support vehicles such as cars and motorcycles, mechanical services and a "broom car" ready to help those who require it in the event of any eventuality.

The ride organised by Larra-Belagua has established itself as a major event in the cycling calendar and this new edition has the support of important companies. Among the sponsors of the ride are: Unsain, Caja Rural, ECOON Sport, Balat and Cycla and the collaborators closed to date are: Coca Cola, Ambar, Florette, PlisPlas, Lacturale, Nutrisport, Snö and Red Bull, Sendaviva, Gut Nutrición and Bombones Torres.
