Experts from public administrations, companies and learning centers agree that 2023 will be a year of opportunities for the technology, health and education sectors. In addition, it is expected that vocational education will be strengthened, the most effective way to respond to the current needs of the labor market: 36.7% of job offers require vocational education graduates, and 36.4% university students, according to the 25th Report of Infoempleo Adecco: Employment Supply and Demand in Spain. In order to find out the jobs for VET students with the highest projection this year, SEPE has analyzed the recruitment data for 2022. These are the five VET professions with the most job opportunities.

Administrative management

These professionals are responsible for processing documents or internal or external communications in the information circuits of companies, preparing documents and communications based on orders received or information obtained, classifying, registering and archiving communications and documents, according to the appropriate techniques and parameters established in the company, among others. In this area, administrative staff, customer service or management assistants were some of the most recurring contracts for Administrative Management technicians. In 2022, more than 161,000 contracts were signed in this branch, of which 111,000 were for high-level administrative and financial technicians.

Nursing Care Assistant 

Last year, more than 112,000 contracts were created for Nursing Technician Assistants; professionals capable of caring for patients and working in various areas of health care. There is a very high percentage of employability, such as Pharmacy and Parapharmacy Technician (more than 14,000 contracts per year), Senior Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine Technician (more than 7,500 jobs per year), Senior Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory Technician (more than 13,000 contracts per year more) or Senior Oral Hygiene Technician (more than 5,000 contracts per year).

Kindergarten

They are responsible for designing, applying and evaluating educational projects for the first cycle of Kindergarten. Workers trained as high-level technicians in early childhood education opted for more than 67,000 contracts in 2022. In addition, the trend of recruitment profiles as high-level social integration technicians is also very positive (more than 32,000 contracts per year). Next is the Dependent Care Technician (over 25,000 contracts in 2022).
