The Department of Industry receives the award for the public administration most committed to Digital Transformation.
The Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government has received the award for the public administration most committed to Digital Transformation at the DOK SUMMIT congress.
This event, organised by the GAIA – Cluster of Knowledge and Technology Industries and ESLE – Association of Free Software Companies of the Basque Country, took place on 11 and 12 November at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao. The congress brought together the main actors in the digital, technological and business ecosystem of the Basque Country, with 98 different activities, including a dozen presentations, the presentation of more than 30 success stories, five panels of experts, 10 inspirational talks, workshops, exhibitions and a long list of complementary activities.
The Deputy Minister for Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation, Jaione Ganzarain, has received the award for the public administration most committed to Digital Transformation. She stressed that public-private collaboration must be strengthened, public investment must be made possible and the important work being done in this area in the Basque Country must be brought to the attention of society as a whole.
