Pearl earrings? No, wireless headphones

And what if we used earrings for something more practical than decorating? That’s apparently the question the German company Nova asked itself when developing wireless headphones that look like pearl-shaped earrings.

We don’t know what they will really be like, but of course, if their desire was to resonate, they would have succeeded. And in an industry that is as competitive as wireless headphones, it’s no small task. Since Apple launched its AirPods in December 2016, the war has begun to conquer our ears, where there are more and more opponents.

However, so far brands have accustomed us to wireless headphones, that is, those that go into the hearing room. And this German company has turned its device around, and it’s actually better than ever.

Nova H1 Audio Earrings, with a silver or gold clip, are earrings for wireless headphones that attach to your ear. Like the earrings, there is also a version to fit in the ear hole, if you have a hole.

“These earrings feature high-tech innovations embedded in freshwater pearls to provide music and phone calls throughout the day,” they say.

They play music from any audio source such as Spotify, Google Play Music, or Apple Music, allow you to make and receive phone calls, and can also be used to access your mobile phone’s virtual assistant and control your device. The Nova H1 Audio Earrings are compatible with any iOS or Android phone via Bluetooth 5.
Weighing in at 7 grams, “they are designed for use 24 hours a day,” they say of the brand. They also add that they are “in favor of privacy” because no one will know they are using headphones, or even listening.

You’re probably wondering how they listen if they don’t get into your ear. They use a technology developed by Nova, called Directional Sound Technology. With the pearl of the earring itself — it’s the real pearl — the sound goes from the earlobe to the ear canal “avoiding sound leaks and keeping your conversations and music private and safe”.

The battery that can be used has a range of about 3 or 4 hours, and the headset has a 320 mAh battery that can be recharged in a suitcase, which can charge the device more than 5 times, offering an additional 20 hours of battery life. In wireless mode, it charges for 2 hours via a wireless Qi receiver or USB-C connector.

Another advantage is that they allow interchangeable batteries, which means that when the battery is “unrecoverable”, you just need to send it back and the Nova will change.
They are currently available on KickStarter, and have already gotten all the funding they need. They are priced at 295 euros and will start shipping in September.

The smallest clip headphones on the planet

With hidden technology, the discreet design of NOVA Audio Earrings will make it easier for us to connect with those we love and listen to music. In this regard, one of the advantages is that no one will know that we carry wireless headphones.

You can find them with a silver or gold clip. NOVA Audio Pearl Earrings are the smallest headphones on the planet. They have the latest high technology, embedded in freshwater pearls, to bring music and phone calls all day long.

They are the first audio earrings to be worn during the day all over the world, and are sure to set trends.

And they are also multi-tasking. They will become your perfect ally while doing other phone calls or listening to music.
