Elon Musk wants a piece of the pie (if not all of it) and for that reason he has already launched officially Grok, its own chatbot that aims to be the competition of the famous ChatGPT. Musk was one of the founders of Open AI, the creators of ChatGPT.

We are little surprised that the magnate and owner of Tesla or of the company for his differences with the current CEO, Sam Altman.

That is why since ChatGPT came out, Musk has been wary of this chatbot, and now wants to unseat it with his own version, called Grok. This name is not random, but refers to a term that became very popular in science fiction novels that is a kind of synonym for "assimilate."

Grok, which is the name of the chatbot that is on the xAI platform (in honor of all the apps and platforms called X owned by Musk) is a project that was already announced in the spring of this year, but that has now begun to arrive to some select users.

What Grok is like

In general terms, Grok is a chatbot very similar to all the others that exist, that is, you write commands or requests and the AI generates responses. Obviously, for it to work and be successful it has to have some differential characteristics that make it special.

According to Musk himself, one of the aspects of this chatbot is that it has been trained to give answers with wit, that is, with a sarcastic touch as if they were the magnate's own tweets. But more importantly, this chatbot stands out for offering real-time access to information through the X platform.

A considerable advantage since this social network is a source of constant and global news. In turn, as explained on the platform's own website, this chatbot will be "able to answer almost any question and, what is more difficult, and even suggest what questions to ask."

This AI outside of Elon Musk has the drawback that lately, the richest man in the world only thinks about making more money, and therefore to be able to try Grok you have to check out.

This is because as the tycoon explained, this chatbot will first be available to X Premium users, so you will have to pay the monthly subscription to try this AI first-hand.
