Preview of Optimus features
Although little was known about this robot yet, Musk had already announced that it would weigh 56 kilograms and that its main task would be to help Tesla manufacture electric cars. As he explained, the android was created with "light materials".
Optimus was preparing himself not only to be ready to handle the tasks of the factory, but also to perform in other environments. Where he is, Tesla was training humanoid robots to perform dangerous and boring tasks.
CyberOne, Xiaomi
It is amazing the ecosystem that the Chinese brand Xiaomi is creating around itself in just over 6 years. Not only smartphones, tablets and laptops, but also electric scooters, a whole range of household appliances - from refrigerators to rice cookers and oil-free fryers - robotic shutters, doors that open with a mobile phone and even a car that is still in development.
But the most surprising thing is that the electronics company has entered a sector far from the usual consumer electronics: Robotics.
At the same event where we saw the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, the company's new flexible smartphone, Xiaomi took the opportunity to present CyberOne, its first humanoid robot. At 1 meter and 77 centimeters tall and 52 kilograms, CyberOne has advanced technology arms and legs, and technology from different (and complementary) sectors, such as biomechatronics, artificial intelligence, 'big data' and bionic cognition.
