BerriUp, the best accelerators at the state level according to the Funcas 2021/2022 report, and Navarra Rural Kutxa, the reference financial institution of the Regional Community, have joined forces to bring the first call for the selection and acceleration of startups to Navarre. The aim is only to attract new innovative projects in the growth and pre-growth phase, and although it is currently focused on Navarre, it is also open to other territories.
In addition, this call will have the cooperation of the Development Society of Navarre (Sodena) and the European Center for Business and Innovation of Navarre (CEIN) (public companies of the Government of Navarre, which are benchmarks in financial and technical support for entrepreneurship). The deadline for submitting applications will be extended until next February 12, and registration can be done through the form enabled on each collaborator's website.
As in previous calls, the proposals selected in this acceleration program will be supported by mentors and experts who will guide the projects in particularly important topics and areas, giving the promoters the knowledge necessary to launch their new business project. The acceleration process will last 16 weeks, and the initiatives will have several advantages, such as the possibility of obtaining specialized financing, both in the form of capital and traditional financing, training resources and spaces to develop their ideas.
This joint initiative is part of one of the main areas supported by the Social Actions of the Rural Fund of Navarre, which is the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation. For Gonzalo Soto, head of the Línea Inicia para Emprendedores of Navarre Rural Kutxa, "it is particularly important to unite efforts to promote innovative entrepreneurship, because the projects that are created today are called to be the companies of the future, which will create jobs, roots and wealth for our territories".
When the deadline for submission of proposals ends, a specialized jury will examine and select the finalist projects, who will have to present their initiative in an event to be held on March 3rd in the city of Pamplona.
